Judi has been corrupted

Today is the last full day of our vacation. We were supposed to get our pictures taken at 10 am. Yeah we didn't make it to that appointment. She changed the appointment to 1230 and yeah we didn't make that one either. We did make it to the 2 pm appointment. Got our pictures done in front of the pool and all was good. We headed out to go to the flea markets and when we got to the car Judi realized that she left her keys at the front desk where we had the pictures taken. Once she found the keys we were off to the flea market. We went to the one on 192 in Kissimee. We walked around got a few souveniers and had a snack. As we were leaving building B to go to building C Judi got bit by a bug - the tattoo bug! She got a tattoo.....OMG! For those of you that do not remember the 80's that is Smurfette and Papa Smurf. There is a long story that goes along with this tattoo but I won't get into that today. Judi didn't realize that it was going to hurt the whole way through the process. The guy told her that the pain would ease when he got to the coloring portion of the tattoo. Well as the story goes - he lied. Men - they always say it will only hurt for a minute. Liar Liar pants on fire!!!! When we got back to the Villa she told dad that she bought him a souvenier. We all went in to his room to see his reaction. When she pulled her shorts up to show him he thought it was fake. He got quite a smirk across his face when she told him it was real.....She has talked about getting this tattoo for a while and today worked out to be the day. I think it looks great. We will see how it looks in the morning when it has finished swelling up. Well good night from sunny Florida it is back to reality tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

We are still here in sunny Florida. We are all on the mend with our sicknesses. I am starting to get my voice back. Christopher references it as my killer voice. He says that it is a killer voice cuz it is killing him. These kids.... We stayed here at the resort for dinner. We went to the restaurant on site called Flagler's Station. They served turkey with all the fixings and ham. It was buffet style and HORRIBLE. The turkey was looking like cream of something. The stuffing was a weird yellowish color. Gravy tasted like a salt lick. They over charged for the swill but I didn't have to cook and there is no snow here so I guess I shouldn't complain. After we got back from our horrible dinner and Judi took the kids to the Wii tournament. It was held at the rec center. Steve and I followed her over there because we wanted to see the grounds. While we were walking there we found Mary walking back to the villa. She decided to come back to the rec center with us. We stopped at the market on site for a snack. Steve got a drumstick, I got dibs and Mary got mentos. All she kept saying was I love mentos - they are a mint that is like a gum. When we got to the rec center we found Judi and the kids in the arcade patiently waiting for their turn with the Wii. They finally got their turn and were interested in it for maybe 35 seconds. Off to the speed stacker cups. Me, Steve and Kristen ended up bowling together. I gave Mary my controller so she could play too. What a mistake that was - she stopped the game to change the avatar that she was playing under. I quickly helped her change her mind and get back to playing. We were soon saved from ourselves when some other children came in to play Wii.

More Greetings from Sunny Florida

We finally made it out of the villa yesterday. Thankfully we have decided to extend our vacation from 6 days to 14 days. We hopefully will be able o actualy get in all the stuff we want to do. We ventured to Sea World. We had planned to go to Sea World Monday, Tuesday was Busch Gardens and Wednesday was Gatorland. We all and I mean all of us got sick. Dad was in bed from Saturday evening until Monday afternoon. Monday morning Christopher woke up coughing so hard that he was vomitting yucky stuffs. Judi, Mary and Jayme went to the walk in clinic on Monday evening and came back with many scripts for lots of antibiotics. I called our family practice back in New Hampshire. I had to whine - alot - to get them to call Christopher in a script for antibiotics. Steve's cold gave him a jolt of stuffiness and coughing. I woke up during the middle of that night feeling like I had swallowed glass. I whined a script out of the doctor's office on Tuesday. We ventured to the mall for a small field trip to build a bear on Tuesday. The kids had a ball. I on the other hand wanted to choke the life out of the boy that was doing the stuffing of the bears. He was a PIA!

Greetings from Sunny Florida

As many of you know we had a vacation planned for the 16th to the 22nd in Orlando with my dad. Judi and the kids. We arrived in sunny Florida as planned on the 16th. Got lost trying to find the hotel so it took us a bit to get here but we arrived none the less. Judi had gone grocery shopping so I jumped right into cooking dinner. We had a nice sauce with pork and ziti. Judi remembered to take the garlic bread out of the freezer and I, of course, forgot to put it in the oven. Dinner was half over by the time I threw it in the oven but we got to eat it anyway. Saturday we ventured out to the flea market. I had said that I wanted to go to the flea market on 192. Dad and Judi used the GPS to find the 192 flea market. I however had driven to the Main Gate Flea Market, 2 flea markets on the same road always proves to be tricky. I directed Dad and Judi to the flea market that I was at and we walked around. After letting the kids spend a few bucks each we headed off to dinner. Kristen had been dying to try CiCi's pizza buffet so who is to argue. $5.29 adults, $3 something for kids and anther age group was $1.99 and the babies were free. Judi is a good talker, she got all three of the little ones in for under 3. We headed back to the hotel and the older girls went to the hot tub.

Surprise for Karyn

Karyn's Birthday is this coming Thursday. She is turning well, older than me.... ;) Her husband called me on Friday morning and asked me if I could whip up a birthday party for Saturday night. I, of course, said No Problem! He said o k, I will call you later and let you know how many people I can get to confirm they can make it. Well I never heard back from him on Friday. On Saturday morning he was at the door at 10 am. He tells me that there will be 13 or so people there. I said, I will make ziti and meatballs. He says good. I reminded him that we needed a cake and he told me that he would ask Karyn's sister Krissy to get it. We chatted for a few minutes and he asked me on the way out the door if I could whip up some chicken wings too. Uh no!!! I am thinking - ya I have a bajillion meatballs to roll and fry - no freaking way. Hurricane Noel's rain came in to town on Saturday - just in time for me to head to the grocery store with the boys. Came home and made my sauce, rolled my meatballs, did my hair and sat on my butte waiting for Alyssa to call and let me know that they were out of the house and I could come set up. While I was waiting I chatted with Karyn's sister Krissy. She says, he just told me that I need to get the cake. I said, yeah well - he is a last minute Charlie with this. I decided to leave the house at 5:15 and head to Londonderry. I drove by the house and they were gone. I called Lyssie to make sure they were gone. She said, I called you 15 minutes ago to let you know. We scurried around the house making sure that things were in order. The guests started to arrive and we patiently waiting for late and later to show up. Thankfully they were a little late so that Kris had enough time to get home from work and shopping for supplies. She got there with maybe 3 minutes to spare. Karyn was so surprised. Thankfully I didn't speak to her all day and Megan didn't know so neither one of us could let the cat out of the bag..... Below is a picture that will be worth money. Karyn and Billy actually showing signs that they may still like each other after all of these years. Of course, I didn't get a shot of the actual kiss I had to have them re-enact the moment.

Trick or Treating at Auntie Karyn's

On Wednesday night we headed over to Auntie Karyn and Uncle Bill's house to go trick or treating with Madelyn and Daegan. The kids had a great time. They rode in wagons pulled by the daddies. The kids quickly got the hang of going door to door. They tried to exercise patients but sometimes forgot and while one child was knocking on the door the other was ringing the door bell. Karyn's neighborhood is very generous - some house gave out full size candy bars. While other houses gave out handfuls of candy.

Halloween at Tiny Tots

Christopher's school had a parade on Wednesday. All the kids looked great. The school was very accommodating and let the siblings walk in the parade also. After the parade the kids went into the school and had a party. Christopher loved coming home with a goodie bag.
