Dinner Guests

Dad, Judi, the girls and Melissa came up for dinner yesterday. Melissa brought bouncy balls and a giant soccer ball. She called in the morning and asked Christopher if he wanted a ball. He said, yes a blue one. Melissa - being Melissa - had already bought the giant black and white ball but he told her that one wasn't good enough------So she spent an hour at the grocery store searching for a blue ball. While she was standing in line to check out she spotted a girl with a blue ball. She got out of line and approached the girl to find out where the ball was located. She then purchased 3 balls. One blue, one purple and one rainbow colored. Jayme fell in love with the blue one. She even had to get out of the car when they were heading out to get her blue ball to take home with her. Christopher set his sights on the rainbow one. Yes, he loves the rainbows. Melissa gave the kids these balls before dinner IN THE HOUSE - wanted to kill her - in a very loving sisterly way of course. We had dinner - burgers (mixed like meatballs), dogs, and salads - potato, macaroni and tossed. Of course, I had everything on the table and forgot to put out the rolls...Shocking I know! But the kids played hard all afternoon. Poor Jayme left here with a 1/2 dozen band aids and we think a broken nose. Her and Christopher cracked heads - several times - and the last time Christopher cried. Really cried. He has a head made out of rock so we know it was a hard hit. Poor Jayme had a bloodied nose and it was sore to the touch.

Mom's Flea Market Find

I scooped up 2 (fake) Louis Vuitton bags for $15. Lord knows I will never be able to afford a real one, so this will definitely do.....

Boys new hair do

We got the kids new hair do's. Well actually I took them out front and shaved their heads. They are loving it. Didn't quite love the shaving of the heads but like the feeling of the buzzed heads. Then dad decided to kick it old school and brought out our old box of cassette tapes. In the box was my old walkman. The kids thought that was the greatest. They didn't like to have to wait to have the tape rewind and fast forward. But it was cute.
