http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVRAPG10jps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENCmJVOpTbM This past Saturday was Madelyn's birthday party. She is turning 2 tomorrow. The kids were having a blast dancing. Karyn captured it on film. The adult bootie that you see is Madelyn's Auntie Danielle.

Renee's party

We had Renee's party with her friends yesterday. It was such a nice day and I think the kids had fun. Here are some photos from the day.

Making Jewels

Renee has followed in my interest in making jewelry. And Jonathan was right ontop of helping out.

Kerri

Today also is the 4th anniversary of the passing of my sister Kerri. Although she is not here in person ... she was definitely here in spirit this week. Since last Sunday we have had a lady bug in the house. Only one and it has been driving me crazy. Dive bombing me and making the kids cry. On Saturday night I was in the kitchen, Steve was in the living room on the puter and the kids were watching TV. Steve hollers from the living room "hey, do you have the clicker". I said, no why? He says, come here. So I go to the living room - the television volume is going up all on it's own. The remote is on the couch, no one anywhere near it. I shut the television off and turned it back on, still the volume is going up all on it's own. Although we did not have the best of sisterly relationships, I miss her terribly and would give almost anything to have her back to argue with. But I must admit that what she has been doing this week is definitely her style. She was always bugging us with one thing or another. Kerri - watch over us and keep all of us safe until we meet again.

Happy Birthday Nae Nae

Today is Renee's 9th birthday. We didn't get a picture of her and a cake because she decided not to eat her specially made cake until Sunday for her party with her friends.
Saturday night we were heading up to bed and Daddy smelt something funny. It was the carpet burning. One of the children picked up Daddy's craftsman flash light, turned it on and placed it face down on the step. By the time Daddy noticed the smell - it was too late. The carpet has a perfect circle from the lamp. Daddy and Mommy had to pour water on the hole just to make sure that the wood under the carpet wasn't burning. Daddy and Mommy were talking about ir and trying to figure out how we didn't notice the light on. Christopher announced that it was all his pault. Too Funny, And of course, Mommy took a picture.
