Jonathan helped Daddy

Daddy wanted to wax his car today. So after we got back from our 3 hour trip to Rollinsford, NH to get a box of Care Bears- the boys are just gaga over bears. Christopher informed me that he did not like the surprise when I showed them what the trip's reward was because there was not a Grumpy bear in the box. Grumpy certainly described his mood today. Jonathan wanted to help daddy.

Super Christopher and Super Jonathan

Christopher and Jonathan decided to use their "blankies" as Super Hero capes. They ran back and forth across the house yelling something about Mario and Luigi. They are currently obsessed with Nintendo and the Mario Brothers. Of course I took the camera out too late and missed getting a shot of Christopher wearing his cape.

New TV

So as I have said before, our TV has been acting up lately. Turning itself on and off. Volume going all the way up or all the way down and sticking there. On Sunday it started running through all the channels, the volume was stuck all the way up and it would not shut off. So we went TV shopping. We walked the whole mall and checked out Best Buy and Sears. Then we had lunch at Bertucci's. We got home and Daddy started going stir crazy. He ended up going for a ride to Kmart and Walmart in Hooksett to see what they had for TV's. They had nothing, so he came home. I was actually grateful because our TV weighed 100+ pounds and I was sure that the new one was going to be just as heavy. Steve had hurt his back on Saturday - bending over the sink to look in the mirror he pulled something - try not to fall over laughing. I ended up ordering the TV online with Sears. Steve asked James from work to help him. Thankfully James agreed to help. I got him and Steve lunch today from McDonald's and got James an apple pie to say thank you. I did write him a thank you and Steve forgot to give it to him. Our new TV is great. Turns on when you push the button, doesn't turn itself up and down and certainly doesn't change channels on it's own whim. LOVE IT.

Tuesday.....

O k today was a rough day. Actually it all started yesterday. I watched my friend Katie's girls while she was away. Shelby is 5 and Lillian is 1. Shelby brought out the "real" Christopher yesterday. She opened him up to his crazy side. He spent more time in "time out" yesterday than he has in the 5 years he has been alive. Now I want you to understand something - they were not bad - they were normal 5 year olds. Jumping and throwing things. Not listening to a word I said. You know 5 year old stuff. Lillian was awesome, but I just love babies. Jonathan wasn't too happy with the baby being here. He kept calling her baby not Lillian. He finally said her name and it came out Wil-wee-an. Last night after putting the kids to bed I took a sleeping pill, like I always do. Well, Jonathan decided to wake up just as my pill was kicking in. Poor Steve had to work from 7:30a to 9:00p today so even though he offered to sleep on the couch Jonathan and I slept on the couch. Well we actually came down stairs and watched TV until 2 am then we went to sleep. I woke up this morning with a crook in my neck and a pain in my ass. I went upstairs to potty and Jonathan started screaming. I ran down the stairs to find him stuck. I had pushed the train table up against the couch to prevent Jonathan from rolling off during the night. His nu-night shoes got stuck between the couch and the table and he want not a happy camper. This next part was the best part of the day was while I was grocery shopping. I bought a bottle of white wine and when I got to the register the cashier asked me for ID. Yup I got carded. I was so excited that I told the boy he was my new best friend and I loved him. Got home from shopping and after I put away the groceries, me and the boys went for a nap. Actually, I napped and the boys watched a movie. They decided that they wanted a snack and after letting me sleep for a whole 20 minutes. I must digress for a moment. Jonathan just announced that he needed to pee. I took his pants off, I have been doing that to make him be a little more independent, and he went running up the stairs. Jonathan grabs his butt and heads up the stairs. I hear him flush the toilet and say "bye poop - thanks for coming". Then he yells "maaaammm I all done, come wipe my bum". I have to carry him down stairs and he runs back up stairs. Daddy yells up there - hey what are you doing?, Jonathan answers - I going pee-a. I went up stairs to take a peek and he was standing on the toilet seat - not the cover but the actual seat. I asked what he was doing and he told me that the pee-a wouldn't come out. So back to my original story.... I am sitting at the computer checking my email and Jonathan starts his pee dance. The song goes - I go pee-a, I go pee-a, MAAAAMMM I go pee-a. I help him out of his pants and he goes up stairs to the bathroom where Christopher is going pee on the potty. (Thank heavens I have boys with only 1 bathroom- they can go at the same time.) Christopher yells down stairs "um mom, we havea probwem. I should have known that this would be a bad one but any who. I asked what the problem was and proceeds to tell me that Jonathan pee'd on Christopher, the floor and the potty. So I head up the stairs to find yes indeed that Jonathan pee'd on the floor, all over the potty and the wall and the floor and the trash barrel. I tell you that he must have aimed his penis in the air and sprayed everywhere. I am cleaning the floor and hear Jonathan yell from downstairs - MAAAAAMMM, there is poop on the floor. I asked him where the poop came from and he said, "not my bum". I said well where did it come from. He says, "I don't know". I, of course, ran right down the stairs and asked where the poop was and he says "I don't know". UGH! Sorrty for the long post, but I just had to share!

Day with Justin Jr.

Gramps found a bug and Jonathan didn't like it near him. Obviously this is a picture of the bug and the other is Jonathan thinking he can blow it away. Here Daddy and Jonathan are playing with matches. When Jonathan burns down the house we will know who to blame! After I scolded the Jonathan refused to pose for pictures. Here is baby Justin....One of Steve's friends stopped by the house in Saugus and thought he had missed an update that we had another baby...Can you even imagine - Steve would have to be committed! Christopher and Jonathan were picking me flowers, so sweet! Just love those dandelions. Baby Justin loved stealing a taste of his big cousin's juice!

This is what happens...

when Mommy leaves her red crystal light unattended. Jonathan picks it up, tries to shake it and it is spilled into the air, all over the floor and into the hair of the children.

It is Official -

I am completely addicted to getting tattooed. I got this put on my upper thigh. Two devils for my little Devils.

Unwanted House Guest

Today Daddy decided to clean out the kids toy shed. He found Christopher's basketball hoop. Christopher loves to play basketball. While I was sitting on the porch giving out directions to Steve and the kids for what goes where. I noticed something moving at the top of the back of the net. AND Yes it was a Fling Flanging MOUSE. Grayish/Brownish black eyed mouse. He climbed out of the backboard and flopped to the ground. All while I screamed like the sissy I am, and go figure I was on the phone with Karyn and she was getting her eardrum pierced from my screams. With all of this commotion I did run into the house to grab my camera - BLOG MOMENT - threw it at Steve and made him get a picture of the creature.

Our shopping trip last night

Karyn and I took the kids to the mall last night. We went for dinner at McDonald's. Christopher, Maddie and Jonathan had Nicdonild's. Megan wanted Chinese. Karyn and I had D'angelo's sandwiches. Then we headed down the next aisle. I went into Victoria's Secret and bought the new bra, It. Yeah $45 holy cow....I hope it holds these bad boys in. While I was in VS Karyn took the kids to Build a Bear. She came hauling butt towards me and goes where have you been. The kids picked out PINK CATS. I go, yeah so. She was like Steve is gonna kill me. I laughed and told her that they could have the cats. So they stuffed and showered their new pets. They wanted to dress them and I said no, they didn't need clothes...$40 for cats were enough. They named their cats. Christopher's cat's name is Meowy Meow Meow Cat and Jonathan's cat is named Reeeoooww. One lady in the store was nearly peeing her pants watching the kids with their pink cats. Plus they have music going in the store and Jonathan was shaking his groove thing. Now - I mentioned that Madelyn was with us. She took the store over like she owned the place. Her "cat in the hat" was stuffed and named before I was done at Victoria Secret. She decided to walk the rest of the mall while I had to push the triple stroller with the boys and their kitties. We got home last night. I put the boys and their kitties to bed and the power went out. The kids screamed, for what felt like forever, while Steve and I tried to get to them. We do live in the woods and it is creepy dark here to begin with. Christopher wanted to know what the man's name was that I needed to call to have the power turned back on. I ended up making Daddy sleep in the boys room and I got stuck with Jonathan and his bar in my back all night....Lovely!!!
