Visit from Grampa and Grammy Regan

We celebrated Easter, our monthly dinner and Mine and Stephen's Birthdays. I cooked shrimp scampi and chicken scampi. Everyone loved it. Gammy took left overs and the rest got delivered to Uncle Billy Priestley. He got it as payment for letting us go out on Wednesday night.

Jewelry making!

Karyn and I have decided to try to get out of the house with out children once and a while. SO this past Wednesday we took a beginners jewelry making class. We were late, not prepared and very silly! But we muddled through and found out that this will be an expensive habit!!! The thought process was that we would make the jewelry and sell it on ebay or craigslist so that we could roll the money and keep our hobby paid for. BUT we like everything that we make and will probably keep it for ourselves.

Christopher helping himself

Christopher's school has implemented the "help yourself" teachings. They have the children, with supervision, get their own snacks and drinks while at school. Christopher has decided that he will be doing that at home as well. He announced that he was thirsty and before I could get up to help him get a drink he was back int he living room with this-

Shopping for Bugs

Auntie Karyn and I went to Sam's Club to buy Daddy his birthday present. He gets a lobster every year for his birthday. This year his weighs 10.75 pounds. I made the poor boy at the store pull out all the large lobsters and weigh them so that i could get the biggest one! So we got him his present early this year. He is off today and tomorrow so he will get to enjoy his dinner tonight and get over his belly ache before he goes back to work.

Visit to Granny and Gramps house

We went to visit Granny and Gramps this weekend. Had to leave early on Friday to get there before the snow. Our trip was for two reasons - first and most important ~ Daddy got Granny to make cornbeef and cabbage for St. Patty's day and second~mom had to be there to meet the cable guys to have the high speed internet connected. Wooo hooo Granny is back online. We got there Friday afternoon 10 minutes before noon. The cable company gave us a window of noon to 5 for the installation. Cable guys got there at about 1:30, they were quite happy to see that the house had all new wiring. Gramps chatted them up (until they started asking questions). Then I got involved, like Gramps said "you need something taken down or apart, I'm your guy, all that techno stuff you need to talk to the daughter-in-law". So I picked a new email address, simple sedwards @ metrocast.something. Then a password - and to my surprise I picked a good one, Sue can remember! Then dad and Granny went to pick up dinner at Karen and Barry's - hole in the wall- and surprise surprise - they screwed up my dinner!!!!
We all went to bed - fun fun - Jonathan was up crying at 12:30 am - gramps was on the couch and didn't budge with all the noise. I stayed up until oh 4:30 and Christopher woke me at about 7:30 to tell me that we had a probwem. His fart had lumps.....I get him cleaned up and go to the potty to wake myself up and hear. The boom boom of daddy's feet and Gramps telling Christopher to throw up in the barrel....NICE...He spikes a fever and everything - Happy St. Patty's day mamma.
We had about 8 inches or so of snow. Gramps and Cyrus - their baby, went out and played in the snow with the snow mobile. Shovelled, snow blowed and had some fun.
That night we (mom, dad and Christopher - brother was exhausted and fell asleep at 7:30) went to the grocery store (mom was jonesin for chocolate) and we got back and Christopher says "oh no not this place again". We really need to work on his tact. He fell asleep on the couch and woke a few hours later with a night terror - fun fun! He was yelling - Santa won't come if we are not home!!! Guess he really wanted to go home. He sleeps with me and dad got Jonathan - yeah - Dad didn't get much sleep. Jonathan's bar is a b*tch to sleep next to (each time Jonathan rolls you get hit with a steel bar) and he is a snuggler.
Christopher wakes me again with the words - maam we have a probwem, my fart has lumps again....Ugh - not again.
Jonathan was accident free all weekend~until~mom put him in underwear. No accidents all weekend in the pull ups. I put him in underwear and he poops his pants. GREAT.
We cleaned up, headed home and crashed!!!! Rest from our weekend of rest and rewaxation!

Shopping for the next pet to smuggle into a house...

Do you think that Steve would notice if I brought this dog home, Hummmmm? What a dilemma? $1299, maybe I could get a really big purse and no one would notice me stealing him! Chi Chi's twin!

Out shopping for Big Girl and Big Boy undies

Jonathan and Madelyn have decided to potty train. With no coaxing from their parents just between the 2 of them I guess. So today Mom/Auntie bought Jonathan Cars undies and Madelyn Dora undies. Now they are officially big kids.....WaaaaaaWaaaaaa

Spring Fever

Renee had no school today so the kids went running around out side. Jonathan insisted on wearing his boots - on the wrong feet.

Chatting it up with Mademim

Mom's New Glasses

Christopher wanted to model my new glasses so that I could see what they looked like!
